Samantha Moea'i, CSW
Sam started at the Rape Recovery Center in 2015 as a clinical intern. After completing her MSW degree from the University of Utah she returned to the RRC as a clinician. Mindfulness, gratitude, compassion, and acceptance are the foundation of her therapeutic practice. Her training has primarily focused on trauma-informed treatment modalities to investigate and understand the human psyche.
In therapy with individuals, she works together to honor service user’s unique life history and explore the impact it has on functioning. She believes that the natural healing capacity of the human brain runs so deep that even the parts of our lives that are causing us difficulty can guide us toward healing.
